NEEDS-BASED ACCESS CONTROL Unnecessary access to business-critical data remains one of the most important threats to your organization. Data Discover helps you to ensure that the right people have the right level of access to only the data that is relevant to their role. The finance team is unlikely to require access to your manufacturing team’s trade secrets, while the manufacturing group should not have access to profit and loss statements.

PHOTOPhotography plays a valuable role in our visual identity. Proofpoint imagery should always make a powerful impression. Our goal is to link people to Proofpoint’s brand themes of technology, insight, customer-centricity, evolution, and focus.
Like our brand attributes, our photography style captures situations that are honest and authentic. When selecting imagery, please take into consideration the serious nature of the solutions and products that Proofpoint provides and how they protect against advanced threats and compliance risks. Photography should reflect continual innovation, tireless dedication, confidence, and forward-thinking intelligence.

Imagery must capture the most powerful and influential executives of an organization. These members make higher-stakes decisions, so their disposition should communicate Proofpoint personality attributes: confident, smart, proactive, determined, honest, and pragmatic. The impact of our imagery must tell an honest story of the user’s passion for the future and how it is realized through the use of Proofpoint products and solutions.

collaborative photographyThese photos emphasize communication, showing actual settings of professionals connecting both one-on-one and in groups. They are smart, reliable problem-solvers. Employees are depicted in contemporary, modern workplaces and as engaging, active, and positive. They are portrayed in their surroundings as candid and photojournalistic, never staged or posed. The subject matter should be innovative, smart, and reliable.

Do not use portraiture or images that are staged or have unrealistic settings.
Do not show images with dated technology.
Do not crop foreground images in a way that causes confusing visuals.
Do not use imagery with bad lighting or that is dull and out of focus.
Do not use cliched metaphors to represent technical or business concepts such as agility, endurance, winning, or success.
Do not use images with special effects or abstract imagery.
Do not use black and white or duotone imagery.

Vector Points GraphicThe Vector Points Graphic conveys the sense of security that Proofpoint provides people and the data they create. The connecting points and lines represent targeted attack protection, efficiently detecting and blocking threats that may emerge across an entire organization. These graphics can be applied to photography or as standalone graphics to demonstrate how people, data, and their brand are secure everywhere. Two versions of the Vector Points Graphic have been provided. These exemplify the robust, flexible, and scalable architecture Proofpoint offers. Please note that only primary colors from the Proofpoint palette should be used.
For added interest, overlay two Vector Points Graphics on top of each other.
Including an icon from our library reflects the comprehensive protection Proofpoint offers. Ensure that the Vector Points Graphic and icon use the same primary color.
Adding a drop shadow creates the illusion that the Vector Points Graphic is floating. This makes for a more engaging and compelling visual.
Try enlarging the Vector Points Graphic so that it bleeds off the page, and then overlay it on top of a colored background.
