The Smart Car is a car line follower consists of the electronics with a microprocessor HC12 family, which is responsible for controlling the car through the interpretation of the signals received from the sensors CNY70, which will track a black line marked on a white track or platform, and that road must be traveled in the shortest possible time, in addition it should turn and climb a particular slope.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

Adaptive Cruise Control can automatically adjust a car's speed to maintain a safe following distance. The system is designed using National Instruments Hardware cRIO and LabVIEW.


AUTOMATED E-TOLL (Number plate recognition using NI Vision)Fully Automated TOLL are charged through online. Hence, the registered vehicle even at high speed can cross the toll. To avoid unauthorized crossing, Number Plate recognition using NI Vision Software is done.

VISION BASED DRIVER ALERT SYSTEM

Obtaining the current speed and steering angle, and comparing it with the approaching vehicle, The driver is alerted and subsequently can avoid accidents. Moving objects behind the vehicle are captured and distance, speed & the angle of orientation are calculated and transferred through Wi-Fi to an embedded device located in the vehicle.


It aims at developing a multi biometric authentication system using a multi core processor. The biometrics will involve iris, fingerprint and signature recognitioneach of which will run as an individual thread in a multi-core processor
