• Designed and taught RSCH 610 – Foundations and Methods of Research, a required graduate class covering the basics of research design, methods, and writing. This course prepares graduate students to be good consumers of research and potentially conduct their own research projects. In the Fall of 2007, I designed and taught a special section for psychology students with little or no previous research background.

• Designed and taught RSCH 620 – Educational and Psychological Statistics, a graduate level statistics course that introduces students to statistical concepts and reasoning and prepares students to conduct analyses on their own theses or research projects.

Springfield College, Department of Psychology, Springfield, MA January, 2004 to May, 2009

• Designed and taught PSYC 674 – Counseling for Enhanced Performance. This course was designed to teach students intervention skills with athletes, including various theoretical approaches and techniques. This course also covered the majority of sport psychology concepts typically discussed in a graduate level sport psychology class.

• Designed and taught PSYC 656 – Life Skills. Students in this class learned about life skills and how these skills can transfer from one domain to another. Students designed and delivered life skills workshops to student-athletes.

• Taught 2 sections of PSYC 686 – Fieldwork Seminar, in Spring 2006. This course involved supervising the fieldwork of graduate students enrolled in the Athletic Counseling program. Students worked with teams and student-athletes on a variety of academic, personal, and sport related issues.
