What do you do?Measure out 100 ml of the juice in a flask. Use the micropipette to measure out 2 ml of the starch indicator which we added to the juice.

Next We put a 50/50 diluted potassium iodide solution in a burette.We slowly added this to the juice sample until there was a noticeable short lasting change in the color. We calculated how much potassium iodide solution it took to change the color of the sample.

Skills…Materials: Burette and a pipette, micro pipette.Starch indicator that tells when the reaction is done, it will change color.

Pipetting- you draw an exact amount of the substance into the pipette.
