WHAT IS BIO DIESEL

Biodiesel is a renewable, clean- burning

diesel replacement that is reducing India's

dependence on foreign petroleum, creating

jobs and improving the environment. Made

from a diverse mix of feedstock's including

recycled cooking oil, soybean oil, palm oil

and animal fats.

WHY BIO DIESEL?Cost Effective

Bio diesel proof to be cost effective alternative of conventional

diesel as for example a basic monthly run of your vehicle is 10,000

km approx. and it gives an average of 6kmpl so by using

conventional diesel it costs @70*Rs approx. 7,00,000 INR, but by

using Bio diesel as a fuel for your vehicle it saves you around

50,000 INR per month, 6,00,000 INR annually and additional GST

benefit to the user.

Greener

Biodiesel causes far less damage than petroleum diesel does if

spilled or released to the environment because of biodiesel’s better

biodegradability. It is safer than petroleum diesel because it is less

combustible. The flashpoint for biodiesel is higher than 130°C

(266°F), compared with about 52°C (126°F) for petroleum diesel.

Biodiesel is safe to handle, store, and transport.

No Engine Modifications

Using biodiesel as a vehicle fuel improves air quality and the

environment, increases energy security, and provides safety

benefits.

FACTS OF BIODIESEL

Biodiesel is recognized by every industry and

government entity.

Biodiesel is made by modifying the chemical structure

of natural vegetable oils.

Biodiesel burns significantly cleaner then diesel fuel

and is nearly carbon neutral and biodiesel is non-

toxic.

Biodiesel has much higher lubricity than diesel fuel

resulting in longer engine life and cleaner fuel

injection components.

APPLICATION OF BIO-DIESEL

Biodiesel can be used in pure form (B100) or may be blended with petroleum diesel at any concentration at B5, B10 or B20.

In any Diesel operated Vehicle.

In any DG (Generator) set.

In Railway Engines.

As a direct heating oil.

In Boilers.
