WHAT IS A VOCATIONAL TRAINING TEAM (VTT)?
A VTT is a group of professional who travel to another country either to learn more about their profession or to teach local professionals about a particular field

District Grant VTTsSupport The Rotary
Foundation’s Mission to promote goodwill and peace, improve health, support education and alleviate poverty.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY VTT?
Global Grant VTTsAlign with one or more areas of
focus, build the capacity of either the team members or the benefiting community, and have a sustainable and measurable impact. The VTT must be sponsored by Rotary clubs or Districts from two countries, the grant may support the travel of more than one team

Packaged Grant VTTsAll packaged grants are carried out with a strategic partner, who defines the general scope of activities within one or more areas of focus, develops the relationships with the local professionals and ensure that the outcome will be sustainable

LESSONS LEARNT

• Most VTTs one way and linked with projects
• Finding partnerships will be challenging
• Costs of activity will rise resulting in greater take-up of Global Grants
• Districts with more DDF will stage VTTs much the same way they did GSE

• A- 7 train 13 local Faculty –Adapted WHO Manuals ,Simulators ,DVDs, Role Play and Interaction with Trainees – Pre and Post Course Tests.
• B- 13 train 19 workers –supported by 7 VTT members –Same method of Training and Tests
• C ─ All 20 participate in awareness training of 39 primary “carers”- Charts ,Posters , DVDs, Interaction

• D ─ Discussion with 19 from Women’s Groups(8) including 8 IW Members – way forward with ASHAs and NRHM
