Stop Motion Animation Assignment Review Aim of proposal When creating my animation I decided that I was going to aim mine at the older generation who are fans of Brothers Quay and other stop motions that are similar. I created it to be a creepy and scary piece for an E4 E-Stings competition. Description of Animation I had to change my original idea of using Mario Karts to I couldn’t get hold of the props or costumes and it was difficult to get to the location and the overall operation for me on my own was too much. I set up a clear background and floor of just boards on a table there for once I turned it into black and white it would realistic. I set them up on a college table I then set up the props in a weird Brothers Quay type layout with sculls horses and dolls to make it creepy. I then put my sequence of pictures together in adobe premiere pro by importing all the pictures then speeding them up to create an illusion effect that make it look like the objects in the pictures are moving. Once I had put it together I then started to experiment by putting it in reverse changing the speed and using effects like black and white which make it dark and creepy, I also put some creepy colour effects into it this type of stop motion which will appeal the my target audience. Stop Motion Animation Assignment Review

Aim of proposal

When creating my animation I decided that I was going to aim mine at the

older generation who are fans of Brothers Quay and other stop motions that

are similar. I created it to be a creepy and scary piece for an E4 E-Stings

competition.

Description of Animation

I had to change my original idea of using Mario Karts to I couldn’t get hold

of the props or costumes and it was difficult to get to the location and the

overall operation for me on my own was too much.

I set up a clear background and floor of just boards on a table there for

once I turned it into black and white it would realistic. I set them up on a

college table I then set up the props in a weird Brothers Quay type layout

with sculls horses and dolls to make it creepy. To create the stop motion

affect it too hundreds of pictures and then put them together.

I then put my sequence of pictures together in adobe premiere pro by

importing all the pictures then speeding them up to create an illusion effect

that make it look like the objects in the pictures are moving.

Once I had put it together I then started to experiment by putting it in

reverse changing the speed and using effects like black and white which

make it dark and creepy, I also put some creepy colour effects into it this

type of stop motion which will appeal the my target audience.

Editing techniques

I used premiere pro to edit the animation.
