As part of the Council’s Activities In The Park Program we are organising a Film Screening of ‘Project Wild Thing’ at SPC KidsTown. The story behind ‘Project Wild Thing’ is inspiring - Filmmaker David Bond is a worried man. His kids' waking hours are dominated by a cacopho-ny of marketing, and a screen dependence threatening to turn them into glassy-eyed zom-bies. Like city kids everywhere, they spend way too much time indoors - not like it was back in his day. He decides it's time to get back to nature – literally. Click the below link for a trailer of Project Wild Thing http://www.thewildnetwork.com/film We think this will be a fantastic activity for par-ents to enjoy and see if there is anything they can take away from it for their kids.
