Community End of the Year The fundraising commitment for this school year ends on Tuesday, April 30th. The Walk-A-Thon, scheduled for Friday, April 12 is the last opportunity to meet your obligation. April 30th will also be the last day to purchase Consumer Chex as we are transitioning away from this program; it generates a tremendous amount of work with little gain. Students will be wearing free dress, each class is given a color to wear on the day of the Walk-A-Thon. Please see the colors listed below. All students are encouraged to wear athletic attire and comfortable walking shoes.

Reflection May you seek perspective, pausing from time to timeto observe your story from on high, marveling at the distance coveredstep by step by step.May you view the vastnessof your voyage, the sunshine and storms, the myles and open waters, the humid and arid lands.May you honor what’s behind you, learnings amassed, mistakes discarded, people shaped by knowing you.And then go on.

Peace Junior BachAn Assumption student played the Prelude and Fugue in C Major of Johann Sebastian Bach at Saint Mark’s Lutheran Church in San Francisco this past Sunday evening. There were many children ranging in ages 5-17 performing at the annual Junior Bach Festival. Our Trojan was the only one to perform on the pipe organ and he played his music from memory. The other children played other instruments or sang. 2019-2020 Registration FormNext school year’s registration form is due Thursday, April 11. Please carefully review as the form has been updated. As I have shared, we no longer have a Non-Catholic tuition rate. The parish rectory office will be providing an In Parish report to our school office this week, which determines your tuition status.International DayJoin us Monday, April 8th, as Assumption School travels around the world in our gym in celebration of International Day. The festivities will begin with an all school assembly in the gym, students are expected to enter their classroom after the 7:55 a.m. bell. They will gather and as a class move to the gym. The students are to be seated by 8:10 a.m. welcoming and performances will begin at 8:15 a.m.Spirit DayAssumption School's Student Leadership Team and Campus Ministry will share joy and love this Friday through an event called Encouragement Day. Encouragement Day is an opportunity where students come together by writing positive words or phrases on t-shirts. Students are asked to wear their uniform shirt with free dress bottoms and bring a white or light colored t-shirts (not to be worn to school) that they don't mind being written on with permanent markers. Junior High students will lead this activity that will take place on April 5th in faith families at the beginning of the day.Calendar DatesPlease mark the following dates in your calendar as we prepare for the 2019-2020 school year:
