Prayer Garden Memorial Service: Prayer Garden Memorial Service:

Please remember that the Prayer Garden Memorial Service will

take place on Thursday, February 21, 2013 in the Chapel at

5:30pm. This memorial service is held each year to remember and

celebrate the l ives of the Baptist Hospital Volunteers and friends of

the Auxil iary that have passed away. All volunteers are invited to

attend this very special event. If you plan on attending, please

see the office to RSVP no later than Monday, February 18th.

Hospital Donations: We Need Your Help!

The Auxiliary Board will soon start this year’s commitment to raising funds for

the hospital. Our first fund raising event will include gift wrapping. We are

asking you to donate gift wrapping paper of various occasions to initiate

this project. Donations can be turned in to Kat or Yani, Monday through

Friday, 9 AM to 5PM. Looking forward to your donations!

Relay For Life:

Because Cancer has touched all of our lives in one way or another, Volunteer Services has once again decided

to support this worthy cause. Please help us raise funds

for Relay for Life. Let’s join the American Cancer

Society’s fight against the nation’s biggest Health

concern – Cancer. I ask that you dig deep into your

hearts (and pockets!) and make a $5.00 donation. Other

In accordance with our Bylaws, at the Auxiliary Board Meeting held on the 28th of January, two members of the Nominating Committee were elected. They are Rosita Pollack and Helen Jackson. A third member was elected at the General Meeting on February 4th from the general membership. Ruth Friedman was elected as well as Gisela Iglesias as an alternate. The Board is developing fund raisers without vendors. Money realized will be used for a project at the hospital. More on this later. Two reminders: � The food collection for the Chaplain is an ongoing pro-

ject. Bring in your donations and leave them in the front office. � The Prayer Garden Ceremony is on the 21st of February in
