Climate is Maritime and vineyards lie 110 metres above sea level. VITICULTURE: Viticulture is transitioning to organic. WINEMAKING: Must is fermented in wooden and stainless steel open-top containers with native yeasts. Wine is aged for 11 months in French oak barrels, 30% of which are new. It is then is bottled without fining or filtering. WEBSITE: http://www.stormwines.co.za/ This wine is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. TASTING NOTES: Vivid, fresh and vibrant with a slight lift to the berry and black fruits nose, with some roast coffee notes.
