THE SHIFT &WHAT IT MEANS…
The world of work is shifting to:
More project-based, interim work
Less long term prospects
Less social interaction through our work, since our work haschanged
Loss of identify – cannot base who we are and our value on ourwork or our title
These changes are creating changes in our personal and professional lives:
We’re ‘hungry’ to connect with others, social media is helping with real-time connections
We have a stronger desire than ever before to contribute our talents and tohave our work mean something to us
Many of us are focused on finding more ways to define ourselves and ourvalue, less about money and more about making a real and valuablecontribution
