If we have forgotten any donor, please know that it was unintentional. The family of Clay Antilley would like to express our heartfelt thank you to all the family and friends who helped to make the 2014 Clay Antilley Golf Tournament the best one yet! We continue to be amazed at the number of friends and family who came together on June 21, 2014, to celebrate the life of Clay with a long day of golf and great food, that ended with an auction and dance. This is just the kind of day Clay would have loved so much. Words cannot express how much it meant to all of us to have all of Clay’s friends and family here for a day of celebration. Your continued support of this event means so much to us. Because of this event, in the last six years we have been able to give approximately $38,000 to Robert Lee High School Seniors in honor of Clay. Many thanks go out to Mountain Creek Golf Course, the Board of Directors and Jesse Flores for continuing to allow us to have the tournament here. Edwin Brosh, Cody Brosh, Randy Smith, Zach Skinner, Jeff Brisbin, Jesse Flores and Ricky Ross worked tirelessly for about two weeks getting the course ready. Thank you all. Also, thanks go out to Melvin McCabe for donating all the water for the cart paths and to Jack Yanez, Douglas Roberts, Shane Kelton, Bob Sheets, Waldon & Wibby Millican, James Vaughn, Ryan Standford and Joe Harmon for the three wonderful meals you provided. The food was fabulous. I don’t want to leave out Tracy Allen who helped with the meal. A big thank you to Cindy’s for the cobblers, potato salad and coleslaw. Also, thank you Lupe Torres and his twins for doing both of the CA brands on the course. They looked amazing!! Thank you Judy Millican for making all the “Clay cookies”. They were amazingly good as always and all gone. The golf tournament wouldn’t be the same without Ricky Ross, Clay Allen and Tom Sawyer. Thank you for all of your work during the tournament. A big thank you to Rough Creek (Stephen Myers, Jim Clendennen, Douglas Roberts, and Kacee Roberts) and also Kagan Maxcey and Brandon for your entertainment. Also, a big huge thank you to the band (No Refunds). Y’all were all great and kept everyone entertained the whole night. Thank you goes out to John Hayes for doing the auctioneering for us. Also thanks to everyone who donated something to the auction (John and Kourtney Pierek, Emilee Yanez, Blake Millican, and Gary Antilley). Also, want to say a special thank you to Dean Percifull and Kellye Duncan for making hot sauce for the auction. The auction was a huge success again this year. Also, I personally want to thank all of my great friends who helped me out this past weekend. (Jan Yanez, Dee Anna Harmon, Kelly Millican, Denise Roberts, Kim Philley, Cynthia Hill, Fredda McCabe, Valerie Howard, Stacy Kelton, and Cindy Cathey. A big thank you goes out to Thad and Teresa Metcalf for donating all the squash. WalMart and Sams also donated gift cards and briskets. I certainly hope I have not left anyone out. If I did, I give you an anonymous thank you. Last but not least, many thanks and blessings to this great little town and all of our wonderful friends and families for all the support you have given us over the last seven years. You have all helped us continue to keep Clay’s memory alive and for this we are forever grateful and love you all. Wow........Clay would just love this all.!!! I somehow thank he might have been dancing in Heaven last Saturday night. God’s blessings to you all.
