THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER GREAT YEARAs we near the end of 2015, I look back on TDECU’s 60 year history as a member-owned organization and am humbled. To see that what started as a loan between a few friends now stands as a family over 212,000 members strong with $2.7 billion in assets, is quite the accomplishment. These are milestones in which our members, employees and directors can – and should – take personal pride and ownership in.

In true TDECU spirit, 2015 has allowed us to continue improving the financial lives of our members. We’ve made major improvements with the upgrade of our computer systems. And while we anticipated some inconveniences during the transition, I truly appreciate the patience and understanding we received from our members, as we looked to create an even better member experience. By introducing improved technologies and enhanced security

features, our members are now able to access and manage accounts in ways that add convenience and time back to their busy days.

As we celebrate an organization 60 years in the making, we remain resolute in our commitment to grow stronger. In closing out the year and looking ahead to 2016, I want to say “thank you” for your continued commitment and support that has made TDECU what it is today. We are here for you. We appreciate you. We will continue to work hard for you each and every day.

Going on Now: Health Insurance Open EnrollmentThe annual open enrollment period for health insurance for people under 65 years old was first introduced in 2013 under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The current Open Enrollment Period for ACA health insurance began on November 1, 2015, and runs through January 31, 2016, for individuals and families who do not already have qualifying coverage, such as an employer-sponsored health plan.
