Warrier Foundation Ever since the inception of Warrier Foundation in the year 1999, it has been able to build a sustainable community through various social initiatives and with a special focus in providing free accommodation, education and healthcare to the underprivileged children. It is a great honor for Warrier Foundation to have the support from likeminded people and organization to enhance our operation from educating 300 children to 1000s in the future. ‘Nurture a Child’ Nurture a Child is a project undertaken by Warrier Foundation that provides free accommodation, education, healthcare, and most importantly a career platform to more that 300 children across 4 centers in India. Our facilities aim to provide the children with a holistic development with not just formal education, but also added values such as yoga, meditation, Vedic knowledge, sports, and cultural enrichment through dance, music and arts.

Balmandir (Children’s home) Balmandir, Panvel (near Mumbai) & Anaikatti (near Coimbatore) The Balmandir at Panvel, Maharashtra and at Annaikatti Kerala (close to Coimbatore) are Gurukuls with residential school and education programs designed to educate and engaged the students in both the spheres of Formal and Vedic education.

Balmandir, Thirunavaya (near Calicut) and Ernakulam (at Mazhuvanur) The Balmandir at Thirunavaya and at Ernakulam in Kerala currently educate over 150 boys and girls up to post graduate level along with professional courses such as Medicine, Engineering, Hotel Management, Computer science, etc.

Other Facilities Universal Center for Individual Integration, Thirunavaya The Universal center in Thirunavaya has 40 rooms and an auditorium that can host up to 400 people. This center provides a platform for Individuals for development through vocational training, meditation, satsangs, spiritual and yoga camps.

Jnana Seva Kendra, Anaikatti The Jnana Seva Kendra located in Anaikatti near Coimbatore is spread across 15 acres of land amidst the mountains and consists of 50 rooms for accommodation and an auditorium that can hold 400 people. Throughout this facility more than 6000 trees, including organic vegetables, fruits, and medicinal plants have been planted. It has several additional facilities for recreational development such as football, badminton, basketball courts and also trekking and hiking trails.

Healthcare Warrier Foundation has embarked on several healthcare service initiatives such as Eye Check up camps that have been organized to impact more than 4 lakh students. Several blood donation drives have been initiated and conducted in various locations across India, which has also been awarded and recognized by the Red Cross society of India. WF has also conducted several free medical camps and donated and distributed free medicines to the underprivileged society. Over 1 lakh people have also been pledges to donate their eyes after death due to an initiative by Warrier Foundation.

Individual Development Warrier Foundation has initiated several camps and self-development activities in skill development, personality development, spirituality, meditation, yoga, computer literacy, holistic living, etc.

Right Writing Warrier Foundation has initiated a unique program, where more than 1 lakh students have benefited with improved handwriting in English in just 16 hours of workshop. This also helps in enhancing a student’s self-confidence and their academic achievements.

Environment It has always been the objective of Warrier Foundation to create a positive impact towards the environment and our mother earth. Hence, Warrier Foundation has undertaken several environmental initiatives such as Water Preservation, Bio-Diversity, Forestry, Tree Plantation, Organic farming, and the use of alternative energy solutions such as Solar Power.

Disaster Relief During the Gujarat Earthquake, in collaboration with other NGOs, Warrier Foundation has distributed food, medicines and clothes to the affected victims. Warrier Foundation has also constructed an Athithi mandir at Kudallur for the

Tsunami affected people and also made 12 houses for the flood affected victims in Chennai.

Old Age home and School In Association with organizations such as Janakalyan Sevashram, we have an old age home where 45 individuals are cared for. Also associated with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, where we have a school at Thirunavaya that educates more than 1000 children for Education and normal schooling.

Future Goals and Vision Our Children are the future of our nation. Warrier foundation’s goal is to educate thousands of underprivileged children across India. Warrier Foundation’s vision is also to enroll and inspire the youth and other individuals to realize their unique potential with high spiritual and moral values. This will be accomplished through education, computer literacy, healthcare, tree plantation, skill development projects, workshops, yoga and meditation.
