This Weekend is about YOU! As the schedule indicates there is time for you to participate in workshops, morning, evening and outdoor activities, as well as private one-to-one sessions if you choose. Remember this weekend is about YOU so please choose the opportunities throughout the weekend that resonate most with you.

A Note about the Food The food at a Bliss weekend is a bit of a magical affair. We organize the groceries, the facility and the recipes. Then the group of us work together to create meals that are as good for our bodies as they taste in our mouths. The food is as unprocessed and as “close-to-the-earth” as possible. The menus feature whole, real foods: fruits, vegetables, grains, pulses (including tofu/tempeh), eggs, snacks and treats.

Gaby runs the kitchen throughout the weekend and as an established ‘foodie’ she guides and orchestrates scrumptious vegetarian fare. She also encourages the enjoyment of wine as you cook, if you wish! Gabbing, laughing, chopping, cooking and imbibing – what could be better!

We ask everyone to sign up for one cook OR one clean timeslot. We call it our KARMA HOUR – it’s how we give to

each other throughout the weekend. You will be able to sign up for your Communal Cook or Communal Clean when you register for workshops/sessions online.

Book Your Activities There are so many amazing things for you to take part in throughout the weekend, and it helps if you can pre-register for some of them so we can best prepare for your participation.

At this particular weekend, everyone will be able to enjoy ALL the weekend has to offer. As we will be a smaller group, participants can attend each and every aspect of the program we are offering! You don’t have to sign up for workshops, group or evening activities. Just attend the ones you wish to at the event.

However, you do need to register for one-to-one sessions. We recommend you do it before the weekend because they usually sell out! They are on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend you read through the descriptions in this package before you make your selections. You will be able to pay online for these.

We also need your information for the outdoor activities. Make sure to fill those out as well.

When you go to register online you will be signing up for the following things:

• Morning Activities – On Saturday morning there is just one choice. Please sign up so we know how many plan to attend.

• Outdoor Activities – Get Outdoors! Your registration fee includes a chance to play outside! You can choose between cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. We also need to know if you’re an experienced or a beginner skier. The registration fee Includes full-day equipment rental (skis, poles, boots, snowshoes), full-day trail pass, ski lesson.

• Communal Cook or Clean – Choose ONE cook or clean for your Karma Hour. • One-to-One Sessions – These are optional and cost $45/session. You pay online for these.

One-to-One Sessions Throughout the weekend, you can meet with practitioners privately for 30-minute treatments or sessions. You make a soul investment of $45 for each private session you attend. SPECIAL!! Buy two for $80 (or $40 each) – that’s $10 off!

One-to-One Sessions Tapping Your Way Out of Superwoman Syndrome by Vaishali Patel

In Vaishali’s one to one sessions, she will use Emotional Freedom Technique (also known as tapping) to help you dig into some of those pesky symptoms of Superwoman Syndrome such as perfectionism, guilt, and lack of self worth. At the end of the session, you will also learn how to tap on your own at home to continue your growth and healing.

Empower your Inner Goddess by Miss Jada

Before I am a Relationship & Intimacy Coach, who I am first is an Empowerment Coach. I work with individuals, bringing out their true power by guiding them away from their ‘story’, showing them how to tap into the most serving and authentic state of being, and into their strategy for plan of action.

Reflexology by Julie Lockhart-Thompson

Experience the bliss of relaxation and release while receiving a gentle pressure point massage of the head, hands or feet with Reflexology. Thai Massage by Elizabeth Ewanchuck

Thai Massage is an ancient healing system that combines acupressure, joint and spine mobilization along with assisted yoga stretches. During a session, Elizabeth will guide you through a series of passive stretches and compressions using her palms, thumbs, elbows, knees and feet. Depending on what you need, treatments may be very gentle or more intense. Its flowing, rhythmic motions are both calming and invigorating. And delicious!

How to Prepare For Your Session Treatments take place on a large, comfortable mat on the floor. It’s best to wear clothing that has some give (exercise wear is perfect). Your body will cool during the session, so be sure to wear long sleeves and pants.

Herbal Heat Therapy Thai Herbal Therapy brings together the profound healing e�ects of heat, aromatherapy, massage and herbal medicine. Two grapefruit-size compresses are used during the treatment: one is used to massage your body while the other remains in a steamer, allowing for a continuous flow of heat and aroma. Each compress is filled with fragrant healing herbs and spices. The additional cost for herbal heat therapy is $20, to be paid directly to Elizabeth. The compresses are yours to keep; Elizabeth will give you a handout on how to store and use them at home.

Recommended: Add two blocks together for a 60-minute treatment!

Weekend Activities – Friday night – CREATIVE ACTIVITY – Friday 6:30-10:30pm

Soul Stones Facilitated by Julie Lockhart-Thompson

Unleash your inner creative Goddess and dance with your soul’s desire! Soul Stones are hand painted stones with an image, word, pattern or design that ignites your soul’s spark and sets your inner child free. All supplies will be provided for you to paint, write and draw your desire for the weekend.

Weekend Activities - Saturday – MORNING ACTIVITY – Saturday 7:30-8:30am –

Morning Meditation Facilitated by Sarah Hutchison

On Saturday morning we will greet the day with humble gratitude. Join Sarah as she guides you into a state of deep relaxation, where you will feel ready to receive the magic of the day before you. Open your heart and your mind to the possibility of transformation, joy, sisterhood and laughter. Start your Saturday at Bliss by centering and grounding the experience in an hour of beautiful meditation. Come prepared to enjoy yourself either sitting flat-footed in a chair, or lying comfortably on your sleeping bag and pillow. The choice is yours! – OUTDOOR ACTIVITY – Saturday 9:30am-1pm –

Enjoy the outdoors and get your blood pumping! Facilitated by Mansfield Outdoor Centre Staff  Get Outdoors! Your registration fee includes a chance to play outside! You can choose between cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The registration fee Includes full-day equipment rental (skis, poles, boots, snowshoes), full-day trail pass, ski lesson.

Mansfield offers some of the finest cross-country skiing in Southern Ontario. Their machine groomed and trackset trails wind their way through hundreds of acres of beautiful forest with many picturesque views of the Mulmur Hills. Their 40 km trail network provides a choice of 7 different trails graded from novice to expert. From mild to wild there is something for every level of skier.

Workshop 1: Blisstorative Yoga Presented by Elizabeth and Kathy

Join Kathy and Elizabeth to stretch your body, tickle your heart and soothe your soul. Drawing inspiration from yoga, breath awareness, tai chi and Thai massage, we’ll invite a playful curiosity through movement and stillness. Let’s have some fun! Here’s what we’ll be doing:

• After a morning spent in nature enjoying outdoor play, we’ll come inside to slow down and get curious about ourselves. In a world filled with external demands, we’ll invite quiet reflection. Listen to your body; be present; breathe.

• During the last half of the class, we’ll move into delicious restorative poses. With simple props supporting your body, tensions can melt away. Elizabeth will offer subtle Thai massage to encourage deeper relaxation. Yum!

Gentle movement makes the workshop accessible to all bodies and abilities – no previous experience required.

Please bring the following items with you! If you don’t have them, no worries; we’ll MacGyver something that works.

• Yoga mat • Shawl or sweater (your body will cool off during the restorative poses) • Thick blanket • One pillow • Your inner kid

Workshop 2: Connect Through Laughter Presented by Stephanie Herrera

In our tech world we are losing the power of human interaction, this is effecting our personal and professional relationships and on top of that we tend to second guess ourselves and are more concerned with not messing up than with trusting our instincts. This workshop is all about fun, getting out of your head, learning how to play again, tapping into that child-like creativity that you haven’t used in a long time, and just plain laughing. Learn what you’re capable of, come and play outside of the box.

– EVENING ACTIVITY – Saturday 9:00-10:30pm

“I’m Bringing Sexy Back!” Facilitated by Miss Jada

As strong women in the millennium there is so much pressure put upon us by society that says we should be able to raise our children (well), work that 9-6 job, make it home in time to have dinner on the table, help with homework, clean the house, be a wife… At the end of the day, is there really enough time left for self care? And even if there is a 20-minute window for you and hubby to get close, how sexy and promiscuous do you feel after a long day?

How do you feel sexy when you don’t feel sexy at all? When the time presents itself and he wants some playtime, and you don’t feel sexy enough to, what do you do? I will show you how to tap into your sexual being on a daily, so you can tap into it in an instant when needed.

What to Bring? Here are some suggestions for what to bring to make your weekend comfortable and special!

• Closed-toed indoor shoes (for in the kitchen) • A pair of slippers • A mug (with your name on it) • A pillow and sleeping bag • Flashlight or headlamp • Warm clothing / Snowsuit (for outdoor activities) • X-Country skiis/poles/boots/snowshoes (if you prefer to use your

own - otherwise these are provided) • Hiking / Snow / outdoor boots • Comfortable clothing (for body movement activities) • Yoga mat (for meditation and yoga) • Comfy cushion for meditation or sitting • Towel and toiletries • Special drinks (i.e. wine, beer, juices) and corkscrew/opener • Camera • Journal, pad of paper, writing materials • Paints, drawing pencils, brushes, canvas/or paper (in case you

want to get creative!) • Poetry, journal writing, songs, skits, comedy routines, etc. – to

perform at the open mic on Saturday evening • Drum, shaker, guitar, musical instruments, etc. (for around the

Shared Accommodations The digs at Mansfield Outdoor Centre aren’t posh. They are simple and we like it that way! The accommodations work well for those who love camping and nature. The rooms are shared, with simple décor. They are perfect for bunking down with girlfriends or for meeting new friends. The majority of the rooms sleep 6 people in both bottom and top bunk beds.

Washroom facilities include a central washroom with showers and toilets in the same building as your room. You bring your own pillow and sleeping bag and a flashlight to navigate the site at night. It’s like going back to camp!

Take the Gardiner Expressway to 427 North towards 401. Take 401 West and keep left to take 410 in direction Brampton. Continue on 410 and turn right onto Mayfield Rd/Peel Regional Rd 14. Turn left onto Dixie Rd/Peel Regional Rd 4 North. At the roundabout, take 1st exit onto Olde Base Line Rd/Peel Regional Rd 12. Turn left onto Mountainview Rd. and then right onto Walker Rd West. Turn left onto Airport Rd and drive towards Mulmur. Mansfield is at Side Rd. 17 on your right.

Directions from Downtown Barrie

Drive West on Dunlop St West onto County Rd. 90. After 12km turn right onto Brentwood R/County Rd. 10. Turn left onto Sunnidale Tosorontio Townline towards Concession Rd. 3. After 5km turn right onto Simcoe County Rd 12. Continue onto Dufferin County Rd 21 towards Airport Rd/County Rd 18 to Mulmur. Mansfield is at Side Rd. 17 on your left.
