Your support will help people in Littlestown just like Jeff. Jeff lost it all. His job, his wife, his home. Jeff came to New Hope looking for food to help feed his kids. While filling out the paperwork and telling one of our volunteers about how he lost his job, he learned about a program we offer called Job Junction. Job Junction is a way for people who need help finding a job, or even getting a better-paying job, to work one-on-one with someone at New Hope to do just that. After Jeff finished shopping for food for his family, he set an appointment to come back the next week to work on his resume and find the best way to get back into the work force. We also told him about an upcoming job fair we were hosting later in the week. Jeff showed up with his newly updated resume in hand. He spoke with every employer, and landed a couple interviews. Jeff got a job offer – full-time with benefits! We were glad to help him for a time, and then we didn’t see Jeff anymore. Here’s what he told us: “I don’t think I would have made it without New Hope Ministries in my life.”
