Call to Worship Leader: Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. People: For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Leader: Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, People: that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Leader: The Lord be with you. People: And also with you. Leader: Let us worship God. Hebrews 4:14-16
Songs of Praise Praise to the Lord, the Almighty
Praise to the Lord, the Almighty the King of creationO my soul praise Him for He is thy health and salvationAll ye who hear now to His temple draw nearPraise Him in glad adoration
Praise to the Lord, Who o'er all things so wondrously reignethShelters thee under His wings, yea so gently sustainethHast thou not seen how thy desires e'er have beenGranted in what He ordaineth
Hallelujah hallelujah Hallelujah hallelujah
Praise to the Lord, Who doth prosper thy work and defend theeSurely His goodness and mercy here daily attend theePonder anew what the Almighty can doIf with His love He befriend theePraise to the Lord, O let all that is in me adore HimAll that hath life and breath, come now with praises before HimLet the Amen sound from His people againGladly fore'er we adore Him

Oceans (When Feet May Fail)
You call me out upon the waters, the great unknown where feet may failAnd there I find You in the mystery, in oceans deep my faith will stand
And I will call upon Your name and keep my eyes above the waves When oceans rise my soul will rest in Your embrace For I am Yours and You are mine
Your grace abounds in deepest waters, Your sovereign hand will be my guideWhere feet may fail and fear surrounds me, You've never failed and You won't start now
Spirit lead me where my trust is without bordersLet me walk upon the waters wherever You would call meTake me deeper than my feet could ever wanderAnd my faith will be made stronger in the presence of my Savior

Prayer of Adoration
Confession of Faith.....................................................................................The Apostles Creed Q: Let us affirm our faith together in the words of the Apostles’ creed: Do you believe in God the Father?
A: We believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth.Q: Do you believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God?A: We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at he right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there He will come to judge the living and the dead.
Q: Do you believe in God the Holy Spirit? A: We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic* church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Confession of Sin
Merciful God, we come here to worship and sing praise to your Name, yet we do so with hearts still pretty satisfied with what we have attained in this world. (pause for silent confession)
We confess that we don’t like to obey you if it might cost us something- our time, emotional energy, our reputation, or our money. (pause for silent confession)
We confess that we try to see how little we can obey and still be okay with you. (pause for silent confession)
We confess that we are selfish and lazy and so very slow to respond in obedience to live for you. (pause for silent confession)
Please forgive us through Jesus for all of our many sins. And thank you for providing a means for our salvation-the blood and righteousness of Christ. Amen. Song of Lament Have Mercy on Me
Have mercy on me O God according to Your unfailing love According to Your great compassion, blot out my transgression Have mercy on me O God according to Your unfailing love Wash away my iniquity, cleanse me from my sin
I will be whiter than snow, I will be whiter than snow I will be whiter than snow, I will be whiter than snow
By the blood, I am whiter than snow I am made whiter than snow

Assurance of Pardoning Grace For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
Hymn of Pardoning Grace It Is Well With My Soul
When peace, like a river, attendeth my wayWhen sorrows like sea billows rollWhatever my lot, Thou has taught me to sayIt is well, it is well, with my soul
It is well, (it is well), with my soul, (with my soul) It is well, it is well, with my soul
Though Satan should buffet, though trials should comeLet this blest assurance controlThat Christ has regarded my helpless estateAnd has shed His own blood for my soul
My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thoughtMy sin, not in part but the wholeIs nailed to the cross, and I bear it no morePraise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul
O Lord, haste the day when the faith shall be sightThe clouds be rolled back as a scrollThe trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descendEven so, it is well with my soul

Prayer Time with the Lord’s Prayer Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: for Thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
Offering and Prayer of Dedication For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9
Scripture Reading.......................................................................................Philippians 1:27-30

Hymn of Consecration My Faith Looks Up to Thee
My faith looks up to Thee, Thou Lamb of Calvary, Savior divine Now hear me while I pray, take all my guilt away O let me from this day be wholly Thine
May Thy rich grace impart strength to my fainting heart, my zeal inspire As Thou hast died for me, O may my love to Thee Pure warm and changeless be, a living fire
While life's dark maze I tread and griefs around me spread, be Thou my guide Bid darkness turn to day, wipe sorrow's tears away Nor let me ever stray from Thee aside
When ends life's transient dream When death's cold sullen stream shall o'er me roll Blest Savior then in love, fear and distrust remove O bear me safe above, a ransomed soul Lowell Mason and Ray Palmer. Public Domain
