Now, let’s plan for our 2011-2012 school year…
OUR GOAL
• Increase reading proficiency on the MCA’s from 84% to 90%.
Our Activities
• Monthly Grade Level PLC’s• 3 staff development days – 1-2 hours• One observation/coaching opportunity per
teacher from the literacy coach• Parent training on conference night• Training for our para educator’s on their role
in Reader’s Workshop and Intervention.
Complete Survey
• Please complete the survey I’ve handed out and return to me by September 15th. I will average the answers to the questions and take the bottom three areas for staff training.
