My email addresses are [email protected] (my primary address), [email protected] (an old address; sometimes you may receive an email from me from it—my mistake—please use the first email address), and [email protected] (a junk mail address, I don’t use it ever). I will not send an email to you telling you I need money or gift cards or ask you to respond to some weird request. Just check that it’s from my ymail address, and if not, delete it. Call to Worship Ruling Elder Jon HesselinkPraise God wherever you are, in every aspect of your lives. Praise God’s mighty deeds and noble majesty. Praise the Lord in all that you do. Sing out your joy for this is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Call to Confession Ruling Elder Jon HesselinkChrist Himself bore our sins in His holy body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness; by His wounds we have been healed. So, let us acknowledge together our failure and disobedience, and return to the Lord with penitence and faith.
Confession of SinHoly God, You made us in Your image, with a mind to know You, a heart to love You, and a will to serve You. But our knowledge is imperfect, our love inconstant, our obedience incomplete. We are distracted by what is going on around us and fail to hear Your guiding voice. In Your tender love, forgive us. Amen

Assurance of Pardon Ruling Elder Jon HesselinkOur Lord is compassionate and gracious; slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will He harbor His anger forever. He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him, as far as the east is from the west; so far has He removed our sins from us. In Jesus Christ we are forgiven. Thanks be to God.

WE RESPOND TO THE WORD OF GOD
Prayers of the People and Lord’s PrayerOur Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day
our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen

God has shown us the meaning of generosity in the beautiful diversity of creation, in the overflowing love of Jesus Christ, in the never-ending love of the Holy Spirit. God has abundantly blessed us and calls us to continue to be a community that honors each other, to serve others with joy, to share our love and material possessions. Let us rejoice in what we have given with the opportunity to share God’s grace given to us. Let us pray: Gracious God, you are generous and merciful, of whose bounty we have all received. We ask that you accept this offering of your people. We ask that you follow it with your blessing that it may serve to further your good works in your earthly kingdom. Amen
