Offering a gymnastics-based child development activity for children. Instructors and staff encourage and support children of all abilities to accomplish and achieve to their own full potential in a creative environment. Children are motivated to use all parts of their body through a range of gymnastic stations, which help children to grow in confidence and in their own abilities and movement.

Aqua Tots Dimensions

Giving young children the opportunity to have fun splashing around where toys and floats are available in water. One to one support is given to children, where they can practice their skills and floating in the water. Armbands are provided at Dimensions but swimming nappy to be brought if required.

Pony riding Poplars

Children have the opportunity to have hands on experience riding the ponies around the arena, learning new basic skills/techniques such as weaving in and out of cones and learning to trot. Children are on the ponies for approx.30 minutes, followed by the opportunity to explore the grounds where the ponies live and watch them in their own environment. Riding hats are provided by the school. Picnics can be brought and sensible clothing should be worn such as wellies or trainers.

Cinema

Wheel chair accessible

Children are welcomed to come and watch the latest age appropriate films with other children, support is provided by staff members. Children can bring a snack & drink or money to purchase. Film times may also vary from the brochure depending on films available that day.

Blurton Children’s Centre

Wheel chair accessible

Fun, soft play, climbing tower, also a well-equipped sensory room.

Board games, colouring & craft. Outdoor there is a slide, climbing frame, play area and gardens all to enjoy.

Dance at KDK

Children have the opportunity to learn simple dance routines from a qualified dance instructor with support from our staff. Children are able to dress up if they wish & play fun party games, encouraging children to listen & take turns. Children are welcome to bring a snack.

Swimming

Children of all swimming abilities join us for a fun session at Dimensions or Fenton Manor. We provide the opportunity to practice their swimming skills. Children have one to one support in the water by a member of our team where required. At Dimensions children have access to the dragon slide, the rapids, hot tubs and whirlpool.

Note: Arm bands are provided at Dimensions but not at Fenton Manor.

Swimming nappy to be provided if needed.

Music and movement

Children are encouraged to join in parachute games, nursery rhymes, incorporating musical instruments, to enable children to experience different sounds, other sensory toys available and craft etc.

Ski lesson and tubing

We provide children with the opportunity to receive skiing tuition from a qualified instructor at Stoke Ski Centre learning basic skills before progressing onto more advanced skills if they wish. This is followed by a fun tubing session.

Awesome walls

A fully qualified instructor is present throughout the session to enable children to learn basic wall climbing skills. This includes warm up techniques and incorporating games to make the session fun. Our staff are present to provide additional support.

Ten Pin Bowling

We offer two games of bowling and children are encouraged to take turns and to support each other. Wheelchair access is available.

Hydrotherapy pool Dimensions

Wheel chair accessible

This is activity is for children with complex needs, using of the hydrotherapy pool with warmer temperature at Dimensions which can help to improve muscle/joint movement while having fun. One to one support will be provided. Swimming nappy to be provided if needed.

Family Disco

Wheel chair accessible

Families have fun dancing together and join in the fun and games, dressing up, musical bumps, musical chairs etc. Art and craft activities are also available. Ramp access is available at the back of the building. Parents/carers during family activities are responsible for all your own children. Soft drinks are provided.

Park activities

Wheel chair accessible

We access a range of local public parks to give children the freedom to play and socialise in a safe environment. A range of ball, kites and parachute games are also offered. Appropriate clothing for the weather should be worn to the activity.

Swim/Go-karting at Fenton Manor

Swimming in the training or large pool depending on availability.

Children can practise their skills, whatever their ability to swim. Our staff are in the water with the children to encourage & give support at all times. Please provide own arm bands. This is followed by use of pedal Go carts in the arena where children learn to steer, manoeuvre and pedal, with our staff to help. Also dance mats & badminton courts are available.
