On January 25th we had a wonderful visit from the Garda Mounted Support Unit. We learned that policing on horseback is ideal for crowd control situations as the Gardai are several feet above the crowd and therefore enjoy a good vantage point.Our pupils also got to enter a mobile Garda station which can act as a mini garda station at public events. Many thanks to Detective Peter McConnon for arranging the visit.
Well done to Joe FitzPatrick who has qualified to represent Ireland at the World Kickboxing and Karate Association championship in Germany.

Proclamation DayOn March 15th we hope to raise our National Flag and listen to our pupils’ Proclamation for 2016. We’re hoping to make it a truly Irish occasion of which you will be most welcome to attend! More on this in our March newsletter.
