WSUMC, in partnership with 4 other churches, is responsible for the March 20th Lenten Lunch at Calvary Baptist Church. Volunteers to make sandwiches and assist with serving are needed. Please call Virginia Lee Brown if you can help.March 22nd will be the 18th annual trip to Washington, D.C. for our Lancaster County Primary School 3rd grade students. If you would like to sponsor a child (or more), please call the office for more details.March 23rd is the UMW’s Great Day of Giving 2019. Go to www.umw.org for more information.We will have a Safety Drill on March 24 th immediately following the worship service.March 31st is UMCOR Sunday (one of the 6 Special Sundays endorsed by the United Methodist Church).The Rappahannock River District Youth is holding its annual youth retreat at Camp Piankatank April 5-7. We will be having Prayer & Ashes in the Sanctuary beginning at 5:30 p.m. Weather permitting, the Intentional Disciple Walk will meet in the “old Bouy parking lot” in White Stone at 1:30 p.m.Don’t forget: Daylight Saving Time begins on March 10th ! Spring forward 1 hour.We will also be hosting a Lenten Music Special at 3:00 p.m. on March 10th with Alabaster Grace with a reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall.Music Night returns on March 15th at 7:00 p.m. Jay Camacho on JNM will be the entertainment.

March 19th is Fresh Expressions training in Mechanicsville, VA. Please let the office know if you would be interested in attending this one day event. Also on the 19th, the Council will meet at 7:00 p.m.
