Assignment ScenarioIn this unit you will explore the characteristics of single camera production and develop the creative and organisational and technical skills required to produce their own single camera dramas. The single camera drama production has become very popular with broadcasters and audiences. This means there are more opportunities for people to gain employment in this sector.Produce a single camera drama on location.This is an opportunity to build on the skills you have developed in the first year and set about exploring existing single camera dramas and planning, filming and editing your own drama short on location. You will be working in groups and develop the ideas and storyboard the visual sequences in preparation. Props need to be prepared before hand. On location you must log all the shots and record the footage on DV. You will be required to look at health and safety issues and carry out a risk assessment.
