Library AccessAt present, we have no private library access. Students will use public library or private means of their choice.

Off Campus StudyNew Pilgrim Christian Bible College & Seminary believes in equipping both men and women for kingdom work in all areas of life. We seek to provide the means to make courses offered available to students who may not be able to attend classes on campus. The student who chooses to enroll in off campus/online courses must have access to a computer or provide an address where the materials can be mailed. All classes offered as off campus/online study will require in depth research and writing. Each student is required to take RW 100 or ENG 101 course in writing. Students will be required to attend at least one campus class period on campus during the semester at the option of the professor.

AD – 155 Management Science BasicsPurpose: To introduce student learners to the development and exercise of Christian Leadership and the mobilization of leaders for service in the local church. Learners will also focus on the development of qualities and skills necessary for effective and responsible ministry.

AD – 710 Rediscovering Pastoral Ministry Purpose: To bring learner into focus with the importance of the call in ministry and the urgency to be sound in teaching in this ever changing world. The seriousness of accountability that goes beyond the reporting to man but all men must give account of their stewardship to God, which includes Intensive Studying.

BC-172 Pastoral CounselingPurpose: To provide learners with an in-depth introduction to Biblical Counseling.

BI-146 New Testament Studies: The GospelsPurpose: To introduce the student learner to an in-depth study of the Gospels, comparing and contrasting, so as to gain a better understanding of the works of Christ.

BI-455 Israel’s HistoryPurpose: To present a survey of Israel’s history as it relates to their life in Egypt; to relate the works of the judges, the kings, and between the Testaments.

RW-710 Independent Research Methodologies Purpose: Guidelines for writing Doctorial Thesis

OT -718 EzekielPurpose: To expose the learner to a study of the Captivity prophecies of Ezekiel and their applications; the times of Ezekiel, his message and style.

BS-719 DanielPurpose: This course is designed to help give students a working knowledge of the sovereignty of God throughout the entire earth, as the prophet himself deals with the issues of that day, and prepares us for coming events. This course interchanges with Eschatology, a study of things to come.

CH-575 Early Church HistoryPurpose: To make known the little-known history of those faithful witnesses of the Lord Jesus, who as members of the church Jesus built, “overcame Satan by the blood of the Lamb, and by the Word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto death.” (Rev. 12:11)

For students entering the master’s level programs, New Pilgrim recognizes the importance of a broad educational foundation. An appropriate program of undergraduate study includes adequate attention to general education. Core Credits: The specific core courses required for each program are listed in the respective program description. Any request for a course substitution will be evaluated to determine if the proposed substitute course meets program requirements. A minimum of 33 core credits must be earned at New Pilgrim for any master’s degree. The number of core credits required is 33 for all Masters of Arts degrees with the exception of a M.A. in Biblical Counseling which has a 39 core credits requirement. The Master of Divinity degree has 90 core credits. Master’s level students have the following options to satisfy core credits above the 33 credit hour minimum to be earned at New Pilgrim. 1.) Transfer credits (grades of “B” or higher) validated for core credits must be from an approved school and must satisfy the requirements of the core program. 2.) New Pilgrim course work.

NT-235 New Testament Studies Part IIPurpose: To further introduce and expose learners to the historical background and content of the Gospels; to enable them to identify and articulate key issues in the exegesis and biblical theology of each Gospel; to demonstrate an appropriate method for studying any of the New Testament Gospels and facilitate its use in ministry.(Prerequisite NT-234)

NT-434 Gospel of JohnPurpose: To introduce and expose learners to the historical background and contents of the Gospel of John; to illustrate the importance of the Gospel of John in the history of the Church; to demonstrate an appropriate method of study.

OT-231 Old Testament Survey I Purpose: To present and expose learners to an overview of the Old Testament; to enable them to recognize and interpret individual characters, and the purpose of each Old Testament Book; to help the learner apply that knowledge in ministry. This course is the first in a series of two that complete the full Old Testament Study.

OT-232 Old Testament Survey IIPurpose: To present and expose learners to an overview of the Old Testament; to enable learners to recognize and interpret individual characters and events; and to identify the purpose and theme of each Old Testament book, and the major theological themes; to help learners apply that knowledge in ministry.(Prerequisite OT-231)

PH-705 Major World Religions Purpose: To provide opportunity for learners to examine and analyze the characteristics of different religions so that the learners may be able to apply this knowledge to an understanding of the world today and how the Christian faith can affect the world.

CMS-498 Church Planting In North AmericaPurpose: To provide essential principals for planting and multiplying churches with New Testament characteristics in North American settings. This course establishes biblical, mission-ological, spiritual, sociological, evangelistic, leadership, strategic and practical foundations.
