The Moon
There are high mountains ad deep valleys on the moon. There are wide flat spaces too. At one time huge rocks crashed into the moon making large holes called craters. Some of these craters have walls which are two kilometres high. The moon has no light of its own. It looks bright because the sun shines on it. One day on the moon lasts for two weeks. During the day the rocks become hotter then boiling water. This is because the moon is closer to the sun than the earth. One night on the moon lasts for two weeks too. It becomes too cold for a human who would freeze to death in two minutes!
Planet Roll Call
1. Mercury is the closest planet to the sun.2. Jupiter is the largest planet.3. ‘Bright’ and ‘new’ would be adjectives describing Venus.4. Saturn has rings with a mixture of dust and ice.5. Mars comes between Earth and Jupiter in the roll call.6. Different answers will be given here.
