Why did I choose the design?I had chosen this design for my google doodle as I felt it was something that the artist would do or appreciate as HR Giger didn’t have an actual alphabet that wasn’t created by him I decided to create my own in a style similar to his work as I thought and planned out how would Giger had done or had a rough idea of how he would have done his own style of alphabet, the background behind the google design was in reference to one of his works.

Tools UsedThe tools to create it was I first used Photoshop where I went onto the software and added a piece of artwork I had chosen for the background I had decided, I then brought a blank text of google at the front, once I had done this I proceeded to draw the alphabet by hand with a pencil and a paper, after I felt that I had the right design and photocopied it onto the computer where I added it to my Photoshop design, once I had it there I used the dodge & burn tool to give the work a darker feel and look including the text.

How was the word ‘Google’ for the design created?

The google design was chosen after I decided the artist, the work was created on a piece of paper with a pencil, the shapes of the google was designed in an alphabetical way that I thought HR Giger would do as a design idea, once it was done I put it on the Photoshop design and I used the dodge & burn tool on it to bring it out in more depth and make it stand, giving it that sharp look.
