The Supernal Nature (Godhead) of Yahweh is a Unity, not a TrinityNotes by Dr. Terry Welsh, Dean of IDMR Lansing MI

Trinity (T) - The state of being 3 in nature, a triad or group of 3 things e.g. 3 coins, 3 bones of a finger. In Christian theology, the union of 3 persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in one Godhead. Unity (U) – 1) The state or quality of being one; having one single identity; being one in nature, essence and fundamental constitution; being one in principle. 2) United into a whole; being in accord; harmony. Yahweh Elohim and Yahshua are one and the same spirit being who concomi-tantly exists in 3 states or conditions (abstract, formed and concrete). Yahweh is the one and only eternal, independent, self-existing 3 fold deity or spirit being, who is the "all in all", the source and substance, the limits and bounds of everything conceivable and inconceivable. In a pure sense, Yahweh is abstraction, the ultimate unchangeable principle in everything, or the sum total of all divine attributes of which every created object is a limited manifestation. That is he can transmute or move into a changed condition or state of existence without leaving his first state or condition or losing any power, quality or attribute, that is without changing at all, his identity, character or nature and he can simultaneously exist in any and all states, conditions and manifestations which he wills. Yahweh is one being with the ability to manifest in unlimited numbers of conditions, states of existence, roles, positions, properties, characteristics, expres-sions, qualities, features and traits.

To illustrate, one man can simultaneously be a father, a son, and a husband and yet he is the same man with the same basic qualities, character or nature manifesting in all 3 roles or relation-ships. His identity is one and the same, but relative position, thoughts, feelings and actions vary greatly depending upon the relationship. The relationship Yahweh has with man has graciously changed through the dispensations of his purpose, yet he has never lost his former position, nor changed his nature in the development of this broader, fuller and richer relationship offered now. They are the same in substance, essence, basic nature, and constitution. They have one ultimate identity, one spirit "mind", and one heavenly body or basic form. Believers are now made sons of Yahweh by faith so they are one (in unity) with Yahweh in Yahshua and part of his body, the fullness of his Godhead or Supernal Nature.

Yahweh is All in All, so Yahweh is in everything and everyone since he is the source and the substance of all things. Yahweh Elohim is Yahweh in part, not in totality. Likewise, Yahshua is Yahweh Elohim in part, not in totality (Elohim v1 pg 28, 79,80). To illustrate: consider a room full of invisible water vapor representing Yahweh as pure spirit. Within that room (in the bosom or center) there can be a cold glass (an embodiment) in which a small part of the water vapor condenses representing Elohim. Furthermore, if the glass is cold, ice representing Yahshua, can form on the surface of the water from a small portion of that water. There is plenty of water va-por left over and plenty of liquid water left over that did not come down into the lower state of

Page 2: idmrlansing.blog  · Web view1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by

ice. So water vapor can be in something without liquid water being there and liquid water can be in something without ice being there. But in all 3 cases, the same substance, water, is there. From this example, you can see that Yahweh (Pure Spirit) can exist in something, like a rock, or in someone, like Satan, without Yahshua (Holy Spirit) being there.

How can the Holy Spirit not be in some people? Yahweh as Pure Spirit is the substance in everyone and everything. Yahweh as Elohim is the spirit of animation in every body to which he gives life. Yahweh as Yahshua (operating in his capacity or role as the Holy Spirit) is in every soul to whom he gives eternal life (John 17:2); that is to those who believe and receive him. Yahweh Elohim is Yahweh in part, not in totality. He is in the bosom of the Father and the Fa-ther is greater than he is (John 10:29 John 14:28); that is greater in magnitude like the quantity of water in the ocean is greater than in the cup. All of Yahweh’s attributes are in Elohim, but only part of Yahweh’s total substance is in Elohim while part of it is not in him. There is plenty of substance (Yahweh or pure spirit) left over just as there was plenty of substance left over that was not in the tabernacle. Likewise, Yahshua is Yahweh Elohim in part, not in totality (Elohim v1 pg 28, 79,80). To illus-trate: consider a room full of invisible water vapor representing Yahweh as pure spirit. Within that room (in the bosom or center) there can be a cold glass (an embodiment) in which a small part of the water vapor condenses representing Elohim. Furthermore, if the glass is cold, ice rep-resenting Yahshua, can form on the surface of the water from a small portion of that water. There is plenty of water vapor left over and plenty of liquid water left over that did not come down into the lower state of ice. Yahweh is All in All, so Yahweh is in everything and everyone since he is the source and the substance of all things. Yahweh has the potential to become Yahshua in anyone he wills to save. Yahweh will be what(ever) he wills to be and Yahshua is that part of Yahweh who willed to be salvation. But until he actually carries out or fulfills this will in someone, Yahweh is not in that person as Yahshua, the Holy Spirit. Once Yahshua is in a person, the person is saved; he has eternal life and he will not suffer the wrath of Yahweh or the Lake of Fire. But the stubborn goats on Yahshua’s left hand will suffer eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:31-34 , 41 ). Would Yahweh torment those with his Holy Spirit? Certainly not! If he did, the Holy Spirit would be meaningless, vain and ineffective as “salvation” or Yahshua. There is only 1 spirit (substance) but there are innumerable spirits (beings) since all angels are ministering spirits (Psalm 104:4, Hebrews 1:7-8,13-14, and Hebrews 12:9,22) including fallen angels or demons who possess souls and incarnate in their bodies.

The nature of Yahweh is Unity of his Spirit which he manifested as the Mystery of Righteous-ness operating through the ages and dispensations.

1). This mystery was hidden in Old Testament times, but now is clearly revealed with the Apos-tles and Dr. Kinley. Exodus 12:1; Exodus 13:21; Exodus 14:19; Exodus 14:24; Exodus 23:20; 1 Timothy 3:16; Colossians 1:26-27; Colossians 2:2-3; Colossians 2:9; 1 Corinthians 2:7-9; & Psalm 24:7; Romans 1:19-20

2). There is only one spirit named Yahweh who is the only true Elohim and Yahshua.Exodus 3:1-4; Deuteronomy 6:4; John 4:24; John 17:3; Matthew 28:19-20; John 5:43; John 14:26; John 15:26; 1 John 2:23; Acts 2:38; 2 Corinthians 13:14

3). The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one and the same spirit being. Isaiah 45:5; Isaiah 45:11; Isaiah 48:16; Isaiah 57:15; 1 John 5:7-8; Numbers 14:20-22; 1 Corinthians 10:1-4; 1 Corinthians 10:9; Hebrews 3:7-9; 1 Peter 1:11-12; 2 Peter 1:2104). This one spirit exists simultaneously in 3 states or relative conditions.  Exodus 24:9-13; John 1:1-5; John 1:10; John 1:14; John 1:18 Like 1 person is spirit, soul and body; a perfect picture of Yahweh (as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) that cannot be improved upon per Dr Kinley. More complete than vapor, water and ice or head, chest and abdomen or proton, neutron and electron or nucleolus, nucleus and cell body or height, width and depth or past, present and future or ark, tabernacle and temple.

5). The Tabernacle Pattern and creation demonstrate this 3 fold nature. Physical harmony shows spiritual unity. Hebrews 8:5; Hebrews 9:1; Hebrews 9:9; Hebrews 9:23-24

6). Yahweh Elohim, the Son or Word is the full expression of Yahweh's nature, image, form, pattern, or "person". Hebrews 1:3; Colossians 1:15-19; Colossians 2:9-10; 2 Corinthians 2:10; 2 Corinthians 4:4-607). Yahweh Elohim, was known as Yahweh in the OT and revealed as Yahshua in the NT. a) He is the only savior. Isaiah 43:3; Isaiah 43:11; Isaiah 49:26; Isaiah 60:16; John 4:42; 1 Tim-othy 4:10; Ephesians 5:3; Matthew 1:21 b) He is the Creator, the husband of Israel in the OT and of the Church or Assembly in the NT times. Isaiah 54:5; Jeremiah 3:15; Hosea 2:16; Romans 7:1-4 8). Believers are now made sons of Yahweh by faith, so they are one (in unity) with Yahweh in Yahshua and they are part of his body, the fullness of his Godhead or Supernal Nature. Psalm 133:1; John 1:16; John 17:20-23; Ephesians 1:22-23; Ephesians 2:15; Ephesians 3:19; Ephesians 4:4-6; Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Corinthians 12:13 09). Satan and his followers are divided and separate from Yahshua; they are not in the unity of the spirit. Revelation 12:8-13; Matthew 12:25-28; Mark 3:24-26; John 8:44; John 14:30; He-brews 7:26; Jude 1:190

Whoever wills to be in a state of salvation, before all things it is necessary that he hold the catholic [1] faith, which except everyone shall have kept whole and undefiled without doubt he will perish eternally.

Now the catholic faith is that we worship One God in Trinity and Trinity in Unity, neither confounding the Persons nor dividing the substance. For there is one Person of the Father, another of the Son, another of the Holy Spirit. But the Godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, is One, the Glory equal, the Majesty coeternal. Such as the Father is, such is the Son, and such is the Holy Spirit; the Father uncreated, the Son uncreated, and the Holy Spirit un-created; the Father infinite, the Son infinite, and the Holy Spirit infinite; the Fa-ther eternal, the Son eternal, and the Holy Spirit eternal. And yet not three eter-nals but one eternal, as also not three infinites, nor three uncreated, but one un-created, and one infinite. So, likewise, the Father is almighty, the Son almighty, and the Holy Spirit almighty; and yet not three almighties but one almighty. So the Father is God, the Son God, and the Holy Spirit God; and yet not three Gods but one God. So the Father is Lord, the Son Lord, and the Holy Spirit Lord; and yet not three Lords but one Lord. For like as we are compelled by Christian truth to acknowledge every Person by Himself to be both God and Lord; so are we for-bidden by the catholic religion to say, there be three Gods or three Lords. The Father is made of none, neither created nor begotten. The Son is of the Father alone, not made nor created but begotten. The Holy Spirit is of the Father and the Son, not made nor created nor begotten but proceeding. So there is one Fa-ther not three Fathers, one Son not three Sons, and one Holy Spirit not three Holy Spirits. And in this Trinity there is nothing before or after, nothing greater or less, but the whole three Persons are coeternal together and coequal. So that in all things, as is aforesaid, the Trinity in Unity and the Unity in Trinity is to be worshipped. He therefore who wills to be in a state of salvation, let him think thus of the Trinity.

But it is necessary to eternal salvation that he also believe faithfully the Incar-nation of our Lord Jesus Christ. The right faith therefore is that we believe and confess that our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is God and Man. He is God of the substance of the Father begotten before the worlds, and He is man of the substance of His mother born in the world; perfect God, perfect man subsisting of a reasoning soul and human flesh; equal to the Father as touching His God-head, inferior to the Father as touching His Manhood. Who although He be God and Man yet He is not two but one Christ; one however not by conversion of the Godhead in the flesh, but by taking of the Manhood in God; one altogether not by confusion of substance but by unity of Person. For as the reasoning soul and flesh is one man, so God and Man is one Christ. Who suffered for our salvation, descended into hell, rose again from the dead, ascended into heaven, sits at the right hand of the Father, from whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. At whose coming all men shall rise again with their bodies and shall give account for their own works. And they that have done good shall go into life eternal, and they who indeed have done evil into eternal fire.

This is the catholic faith, which except a man shall have believed faithfully and firmly he cannot be in a state of salvation.

[1] The word "catholic" refers not to the Roman Catholic Church, but to the universal church of the Lord Je-sus Christ.

BackgroundThe Athanasian Creed is named after Athanasius (A.D. 293-373), not because he wrote it [he didn't] but because he was the champion of orthodoxy against Arian

attacks on the doctrine of the trinity.

This creed consists of two parts, the first setting forth the orthodox doctrine of the trinity, and the second dealing chiefly with the incarnation and the two-na-tures-of-Christ doctrine. It is a good orthodox summation of the doctrine of the Trinity and has been widely used in worship, especially in the West.

Exodus 12:11 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,Exodus 13:2121 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:Exodus 14:1919 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:Exodus 14:2424 And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyp-tians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,Exodus 23:2020 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.1 Timothy 3:1616 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, jus-tified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.Colossians 1:26-2726 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made man-ifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:Colossians 2:2-32 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; 3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.Colossians 2:99 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.1 Corinthians 2:7-97 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath pre-pared for them that love him.Psalm 24:77 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.Romans 1:19-20

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Exodus 3:1-41 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb. 2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. 3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. 4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses.
