Hero Project: Mr. Veronsky, Grade 6, Computer Applications

Objective –Students will learn how to create a report, change fonts, sizes and colors. Use justification, change spacing, copy and paste pictures and web addresses. Insert headers and footers.

Class Activities: Students will create a Word Document about a musical artist or group or a prominent athlete of our time.  The document will be a minimum of 6 pages (each bullet is a page) and include:

a title page with the name of the artist and names of the students, different fonts, sizes and colors should be used. Center Justification should also be used

a biography of the artist, group or athlete, which includes a list of songs or awards and should be double spaced, one full page, times new roman, 12 points

a professional timeline, double spaced, one full page, times new roman, 12 points a letter to the artist or athlete, double spaced, 10 sentences, times new roman, 12

points a gallery page with at least 4 pictures a works cited page with an entry for the websites used for the biography, timeline

and gallery

Insert a header with your name on it

Insert a footer with the page number center justified

Save in the Veronsky/grade6 folder as hero{yourname}
