Points List View The Points List View can be opened at any level in the network hierarchy (i.e. Niagara Network, BACnet Network or Device) and allows all points below that level to be viewed as a list. You can use search filters to display particular points of interest and display history/plot data for a point (where this exists). The Point List View can used to change or override point values. It can also allow time schedules to be viewed and edited.

Points are sorted into groups by point type, e.g. Numeric Point, Boolean Point, Schedules etc.

IMPORTANT!

• You must verify that the Supervisor Honeywell.license file includes the <feature name="honPointListView" expiration="2020-03-31" device.limit="none"/>.

• The Points List View feature is only available for a WEBs Supervisor Station.

• The Points List View featured is designed to be used in a browser.

To make finding points easier, the Point List View provides various options for filtering and sorting. You can also expand and collapse point groups and select different viewing modes.

Filter Points Sort the List Expand/Collapse Point Groups Select Point View Mode View Point Histories

Actions

Filter Points

Points can be filtered by their label (name) and status. The filtering functions apply in all point view modes: Default view, Graphic views and Favourites.

Filter Points by Status

By applying pre-defined filters, points of the current point list can be filtered by the following status:

▪ Overridden points ▪ Points with histories ▪ Points in alarm

Filters can be applied in conjunction with the search function - see Filter Points by Label.

To apply a Status Filter: 1. Click the required icon to toggle the filter on or off:

Off On Filter action

Show points that are currently in an alarm state.

Show points that are currently in an overridden state.

Show points that have a history available.

WEBs NIAGARA 4.7 – POINT LIST VIEW GUIDE

Note: Filters can be applied simultaneously. When using more than one filter, the filters will be applied with a logical AND. For example, if filtering by overridden points and points in alarm, only those points which match BOTH filter criteria will be listed.

Filter Points by Label

In the current point list, points can be filtered by point label. This can be used in conjunction with status filters - see Filter Points by Status.

To filter by label: 1. In the Search by Point Label field, enter the required search text:

The point list will be updated with the matching points as you type, and the search is not case sensitive.

All points are shown where any part of the label matches the search text. For example, typing set will match with...

▪ Space Temperature Setpoint ▪ Boiler Reset Switch

You can also search for multiple matches by typing '+' in the search text. Points that match either or both parts are displayed. For example, typing ahu+temp will match with...

▪ Outside Air Temp ▪ AHU Supply Fan ▪ AHU Supply Temp

Sort the List

Points can be sorted according to the contents of a particular property (e.g. Label or Value), in either ascending or descending order.

To sort the list by point properties: 1. Click the required column heading to change the sort method. The arrows next to the

heading will indicate the sort method applied:
