White Mass

Bishop Monforton will be celebrating a White Mass to honor physicians, nurses, and all those who serve in the healthcare pro-fession. All healthcare workers are invited to participate in the White Mass. There will be two celebrations in the Diocese of Steubenville: Sunday, Sep. 17 at 11:00 a.m., at Blessed Sacra-ment Church in Wintersville, and Sunday, Oct. 15 at 10:00

a.m., at Christ the King Church in Athens. All are welcome to participate in these special celebrations.

New Church to be Dedicated

For the first time in 29 years, a new church will be dedicated in the Diocese of Steubenville. At 3:00 pm on Sunday, September

24, Bishop Monforton will celebrate Mass and dedicate the new-ly constructed Our Lady of Mercy Church in Carrollton. All are

invited to participate in this special event.

Hero 5k Run ~ Support Women’s Center

You are invited to the Hero 5K Run/Walk, "Be the Hero you were meant to be!" on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Jim Woods Park

Franciscan University Fatima Indulgence Site Pope Francis has granted a plenary indulgence those “who visit a

statue of Our Lady of Fatima… exposed for public veneration.” Visit on the 13th of each month until Oct.13, 2017, to
