Section 13.4 Quiz:“Physical Properties of Solutions”
You can use your notes, your book, and a lab partner of your choice to complete the quiz…
When you’re done with quiz, turn it in and pick up the lab:“Making a Solubility Curvefor KNO3”.
Lab: “Making a Solubility Curve for KNO3”
A solubility curve can be generated if you know how much solute can be dissolved in a solvent at a certain temperature.
In this lab, you will study the solubility of KNO3 with water and construct a solubility curve based on the saturation points of 4 different amounts of solute.
Lab: “Making a Solubility Curve for KNO3”
Materials ListThere isn’t a specific materials list spelled out for
you in the handout. You will need to read through the procedure to
generate your own list of materials.
Lab: “Making a Solubility Curve for KNO3”
