• Less footprint area• Less parts• More aesthetically pleasing• Handle rotation in constrained by frame; less

complex• No drilling through frame required• Able to collapse

To do list for next week

• Contact REAR (Rehabilitation Engineering and Applied Research lab) about design

• Machine the pieces needed for welding (water jet); this includes all the pivot joints

• Begin machining the stopper legs using wood• Finalize CAD drawings
