Week 8 Term 2, 2020
Principal Message Kindergarten 2021: We are currently taking enrolments for Kindergarten 2021 and encourage parents who have school aged children to begin the enrolment process as soon as possible. This will help us to plan for the Transition to School process. Please let any local parents know to contact the school with their details so we can include them in the Kindergarten Transition process. Winter Weather: As the weather has cooled we encourage students to wear appropriate clothing to stay warm particularly in the mornings. Please ensure all clothing items are clearly labelled with student names. Teachers are not on duty in the morning until 8.30am. Parents are encouraged to make use of Before School Care if they have work commitments before 8.30am. Sick Bay visits and current health regulations: All students who present to sick bay are examined by our office staff and if necessary parents will be contacted to come and collect their children. This is allowing the school to follow guidelines for restricting contact with potentially infectious illness. If your child presents as sick prior to school, please keep them home and seek advice from your doctor. If your child presents with COVID 19 symptoms and they are tested they can return to school once a negative result is obtained. COVID 19: In the event of a positive case in our school community the school has a set procedure to follow. This includes notification when students are at home and at school. Please take a moment to read through the information. In the event of school closure these
procedures will be posted on Skoolbag and an email sent to all families. Kind regards Megan Druitt Principal
