Just Breathe Take a deep belly breath (or several) every hour on the hour. How to take a deep belly breath: Place one hand on navel, other hand on chest. Inhale through the nose breathing deep into belly. Navel hand rises first. (First 2/3 of inhale) Then chest hand rises second. (Last 1/3 of inhale) Exhale naturally and enjoy. Have You Wondered Where the Stains Went? You
know, the big black one in the Ballroom carpet and the me-andering water stain in the hallway near the cardio room? Well, the magician did not ‘Shout’ it out but with time and effort, Brenda Sansone used her magic formula OXI and a soft brush to make them disappear. Your neighbors at South-port are SHOUTING out to you, Brenda, with an appreciative Thank You!
Important Volunteer Opportunity Over the years of
its existence, hundreds of Southport residents have benefit-ed from Med-Equip To Go, our cooperative lending program to which Southport residents donate medical equipment they no longer need so it can be borrowed by those who have a temporary need for it. This valuable service is cur-rently managed me but for personal reasons I can no longer continue to do it. If you (or perhaps you and a partner) are interested in maintaining this important service, please con-tact me for more information about how it is operated. And, as always, if you have medical equipment you do not need, please consider donating it to the service. Thank you. John Margardo, 508-477- 3880 or [email protected]
ALERT! There are only eight seats left on the trip to Macki-
