Songs of Praise 11:00 a.m. Worship Service

Praise Him

Praise Him! Praise Him! Praise Him! Praise Him!

Jesus, Blessed Savior, He’s worthy to be praised.

From the rising of the sun until the going down of the same

He’s worthy, Jesus is worthy, He’s worthy to be praised.

Glory! Glory! In all things give Him glory.

Jesus, blessed Savior, He’s worthy to be praised.

For God is our Rock, hope of salvation;

A strong deliverer, in Him I’ll always trust.

Jesus in The Morning

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus in the morning, Jesus in the noon-time.

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus when the sun goes down.

10. Dear Pastor Harshaw and Church Family: My surgeon was very pleased and encouraging about my out-patient surgery on Tuesday for the removal of the small cyst that had formed on my voice box. He instructed me not to speak or use my voice for 3 days after surgery and then I may speak in a normal voice, not too loudly and never in a whisper. After healing is complete, I will move back into the church choirs. Please accept my sincere gratitude for your love, fervent prayers and encourage-ment surrounding my health issue. As I have said before, ‘First Baptist – you are simply the best!’ To God be the glory! ~Randolph Bazemore

Responsive Scripture Reading Acts 5:11-16 NIV

LEADER: Great fear seized the whole church and all who heard about these events. PEOPLE: The apostles performed many signs and wonders

among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon’s Colonnade.

LEADER: No one else dared join them, even though they were highly regarded by the people.

PEOPLE: Nevertheless, more and more men and women be-

lieved in the Lord and were added to their number. LEADER: As a result, people brought the sick into the streets

and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Pe-ter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.

ALL: Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed.

Your cards, calls, visits, flowers, gifts of food, and most important, your prayers, have made this period of grief easier for us to endure. It is the desire of this family that you will be steadfast and unwaver-ing in keeping us lifted up in prayer. May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. ~Deaconess Peggy Odom (Daughter) & Family
