Wellington’s Student Ministry is a ministry of Wellington Church designed to come alongside families as they desire to bringtheir children up in the fear and admonition of the Lord. The three goals of the ministry are to evangelize, encourage, and edifythe people to whom it ministers. There are three distinct groups to whom the ministry reaches out to; each group having itsown needs.

The first group the ministry reaches out to are students. The students need to be evangelized, encouraged, and edified byGod’s word and His people. We seek to accomplish all three of these goals by providing a fun, safe, relational and Bible-centered atmosphere in all of our services, events, and activities.

The second group the ministry reaches out to are families, specifically parents. While parents sometimes need to be evangelizedthemselves, more often they need to be encouraged and edified in their God-given roles as parents. Therefore, the studentministry seeks to come alongside parents in order to help them lead their students in a life pleasing to Christ.

The third and final group the ministry reaches out to is to the servants who pour into the ministry. While evangelism, Lordwilling, does not apply to this group of people, the need to be encouraged and edified in their service and life is still absolutelypresent. Therefore, the ministry seeks to come alongside those who serve so that they can continue to serve for years to comewith increasing effectiveness.

This Sunday night from 6-7pm we are having a Parent Night where we will flesh out how this philosophy is implemented withinthe ministry. We invite you to come join us so that you can learn more about the ministry and how you can best be involved!
