Weeks Bay Foundation Bald Eagle Bash www.BaldEagleBash.com The Weeks Bay Foundation will host the Eighth Annual Bald Eagle Bash on Saturday, April 22, 2017, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Foundation’s signature event has earned a reputation for delivering great food, great music, and a great time, all on the edge of beautiful Weeks Bay. We provide fresh Gulf shrimp to the area’s best restaurants and let them work their magic. With a menu that encompasses everything from jalapeno shrimp sliders and shrimp stuffed mashed potatoes to traditional favorites like gumbo, nobody goes home with an empty stomach. Our best restauranteurs go all out to showcase their talents to our seafood lovers. In 2017, we will add a low country shrimp boil to the menu again. While everyone is enjoying the food, home-grown group The Mulligan Brothers will add their alternative country, folk, and blues sound to the mix for the second year in a row. We think our Party for Preservation is the event for anyone who loves great food, great music, and a great cause. The Weeks Bay Foundation has protected thousands of acres of fish and wildlife habitat in coastal Alabama, from Weeks Bay to Dauphin Island. In 2015, we helped to create a protected zone of 1,200 uninterrupted wetland acres by purchasing a 143-acre tract adjacent to the Meadows. Meanwhile, we continue to support important educational and water-quality programs. The Bald Eagle Bash is our primary fundraiser, and is critical to our ability to fulfill our mission of protecting the natural resources of coastal Alabama. We would like to invite you to sponsor the Bald Eagle Bash. In addition to receiving tickets to the Bald Eagle Bash, each sponsor will receive recognition in publicity for the event. All sponsors will be listed on the event banner; Gold Sponsors and above are invited to display a banner at the event, while Silver Sponsors will each have a sign with their logo displayed. We’ve also added Shrimp and Band Sponsor levels which will provide even greater visibility to our sponsors willing to commit at these levels. See the enclosed sheet for details about each sponsorship level. Please support us in our mission by sponsoring our eighth Bald Eagle Bash.
