4. Consultation with department
chairperson and
guidance counselor.
Special Education
The Junior High provides programming for students with a wide range of learning and emotional needs.
We have classes that provide Learning, Emotional, Autistic and Life Skills Support.
Our Special Education staff currently includes 30 teachers and paraprofessionals.
The Junior High places an emphasis on the Least Restrictive Environment, there is a focus on participation in the general education setting and curriculum.
Questions about the best program that will meet your child’s individual needs can be answered by teachers and chairpeople who will be available in the lobby of our science wing and in our cafeteria, called “Commons C” immediately following this program.
