Everyyear,BaltimoreCitywelcomesthousandsofimmigrantsandrefugees.Ournewres-identsbringawealthofcultureandresilience,andarediversifyingandstrengtheningourneigh-borhoodsandbusinesscorridors.Today’sImmigrantandRefugeeCommunitiesconstitute8%oftheCity’spopulation.Connectingournewerresidentstoservicesandresourcesthroughthisguideispartofourcontinuedcommitmenttowelcomeandintegrateimmigrantandrefugeecom-munitiestothefabricofourcity.

2. Go to the school to enroll

Onceyouhavefoundtheappropriateschoolforyourchild,youmustaccompanythestudenttotheschoolalongwiththefollowingrequireddocumentation: • Birthcertificateorothergovernment-issueddocumentshowingbirthdate • Proofofguardianship(ifapplicable) • Immunization record
