The new Cedar Hill Rec-reation Center offers state-of-the-art fi tness and weight equipment, an indoor running track, gym, youth center, child care, kitchen, and meeting rooms. Visitors pay a daily fee.

Cedar Hill celebrates numerous special events throughout the year including Country Day on the Hill, Old Town Holiday on the Hill, Arts Fair on the Square, Fiesta Hispana, the Great North Texas Kids Festival, Music in the Park, Juneteenth, Small Town Saturday Night, fi shing events for children, and sports tourna-ments. And the newly formed Cedar Hill Association for the Cultural Arts is organizing creative events to enjoy in traditional and unexpected venues.
