•  Russell Universities have advised that studying for more GCSEs at the expense of getting higher grades is not advantageous

§  *http://www.russellgroup.ac.uk/

•  Facilitating subjects at IB are English literature, maths, physics, chemistry, biology, history, geography and modern and classical languages. These are subjects that are required more often than others by Russell Group universities.

•  Engineering look for Maths and Physics

•  Law – like English and History – no requirements

•  Economics and Business require no prior knowledge of these subjects - Maths

•  Medicine requires Chemistry or Biology (and Physics if Canada)

•  Architecture asks for Art and Design and Maths - Physics

•  Sports Science requires Biology and another science

•  Do some research as each country is different and, if in doubt, ask
