General Intention: That our parishes, animated by a

missionary spirit, may be places where faith is

communicated and charity is seen.

Dear Parishioners,

In this week's bulletin, I officially announce the

pending arrival of 2 Religious Sisters to our Pastorate.

The Sisters will be full time Pastoral Ministers and will

work with both our English as well as Spanish speaking

Parishioners. I want to thank Archbishop Lori for

approving their ministry within our Pastorate. This is a

great blessing to us all and will be a major step

component in the future of our Pastorate. We expect

that the sisters will arrive in Baltimore the week of

September 25th. I am also happy to announce that the

Sisters will be living in their convent located in the old

rectory building at Our Lady of Fatima.

The Sisters belong to the Missionary Sisters of Our

Lady of Perpetual Help and their Mother House is

located in Mexico City. I want to thank the leadership

of their Congregation and Fr.Bruce, Pastor of Sacred

Heart of Jesus and St. Patrick for their work in making

this blessing become a reality. I know that I can count

on each of you to welcome the Sisters as they begin

their ministry in our midst.

May God continue to shower His blessings upon you

and your loved ones in the week to come.

Hermanas estarán a tiempo completo Pastorear

Ministros y trabajará con Inglés tanto como

Arzobispo Lori por aprobar su ministerio dentro de

Pastorear. Esta es una gran bendición para todos

nosotros y será un componente importante en el

futuro de nuestra pastoral. Esperamos que las

hermanas lleguen a Baltimore la semana del 25 de

Hermanas viven en su convento ubicado en el antiguo

OUR LADY OF FATIMA Our Lady of Fatima Parish, in East Baltimore, will be

celebrating the 100th anniversary of the 6th and final

apparition of Our Lady in 1917 to the three little

shepherd children of Fatima. The celebration will begin

with a Mass at 11:30 AM, followed by Exposition of

the Blessed Sacrament with the recitation of the Rosary.

Private adoration follows until 7 PM. The closing

consists of Scriptural Reading and homily,

Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary,

procession of Our Lady of Fatima statue with Rosary,

Benediction, and Reposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

Make plans to join us this day, Friday, October 13th,

at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 6400 E. Pratt St., Baltimore, Md. 21224. There is plenty of parking
