Dear StA's Parish Family, Last Thursday, Feast of Our Lady of
Sorrows, our staff had a wonderful day of recollection and
pilgrimage to St. Mary's Cathedral! We passed through the Holy Door
for the Ex-traordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy, then celebrated a
mid-day Mass together at the Cathedral. Afterwards, Fr. August
Koeune, the rector, joined us for an enjoyable lunch in Cheyenne.
We returned for a visit to the Chancery, and received a blessing
from Bishop Paul Etienne. Of course, we had to stop for an ice
cream sundae before making our trek home! Youth minister, Dia
Boutte, was our chauffeur and arranged for us to use her family's
van! Our bookkeeper, Mary Snyder and her helper, Linda Slattery,
and I comprised the front half "choir". Deacon Dave Johnson,
secretary Trina Medina and Religious Ed. Coordinator, Sheila
Wiggins, made up the back "choir" for our singing & praying of
the Liturgy of the Hours. I was also able to respond to spiritual
Q&A's the staff had and lead some fruitful discussions on the
meaning & bene-fits of the Holy Year. Deacon Dave led the
Rosary with meditations, and we later sung along with a beautiful
Divine Mercy Chaplet CD, as we prayed for all the parish family. We
all felt closer to one another in our team effort to serve the
parish, as well. It was a blessed day and trip together! Thank you
for the support of your continued prayers for us that we may serve
you to the best of our abilities! God bless & keep you all! Fr.

BAPTISM GUIDELINES AT ST. ANTHONY OF PADUA PARISH
As a Catholic Christian Community we bring forth these
guide-
lines regarding the Sacrament of Infant Baptism. Since this
is
a sacrament of initiation (introduction) to the Catholic
Commu-
nity the following must take place The Parents must be
regis-
tered at St. Anthony of Padua Parish and be consistently
seen
attending Mass in this church.
If this is the first child, Parent(s) and Godparents must attend
Baptismal Preparation class.
Godparents must be Baptized, Confirmed, and practicing
Catholics. One Godparent can be of a Protestant denomina-
tion. If for good reason Godparents are from out of town, or
another Catholic church in town, a letter from their pastor
is
required to state they are practicing members in good
stand-ing.
A visitation with the priest or deacon is necessary before
scheduling a date for the Baptism of the child.
Those not registered in our parish must have written permis-sion
from their pastor to have their child baptized in our
church.

tos para el sacramento del bautiso ya que este es el

Los padres deben de estar registrados en una de estas
co-munidades de fe en Nuestra Señora De Fatima, Iglecia San
Patricio, o Iglecia San Antonio y demostrando que asisten a
las Misas regular mente.
Si es su primer hijo a los padres deben de atender las clases de
preparasion para el bautiso, en el primer lunes del mes 7:00 pm a
9:00 pm en el centro pastoral 642 S. Wolcott.Por
favor llame a la oficina para inscribirse en la clase
307-266-2666.
Los padrinos deben de estar bautisados tener la primera comunion
la confirmasion practicando la fe catolica y tener
16 años de edad.
Un padrino puede ser de otra denominasion protestante si acaso
tiene una vuena rason. Si los padrinos son de otro
pueblo o de otra Iglecia Catolica de aqui de Casper, se
requiere una carta de su pastor indicando que practican su
fe Catolica y estan bien con la Iglecia.
Una visita con El Sacerdote o con El Diacono es nesesaria antes
de poner la fecha para el bautismo. Bautisos se lleban acabo el
cuarto Sabado de cada mes en la Misa a las
10:00 am.
Estos requisitos se lleban acabo para asegurarnos que con-tinuan
en su crecimiento Catolico y partisipan en la fe
Catolica y en la comunidad de la Iglecia.

INFANT BAPTISM CLASS: Class will be held Monday, October 3, 2016
at 7:00 pm at the O’Reilly Hall, located at basement of the church.

Casper has Adoration with Jesus every Monday that school is in
session. Our adorers enjoy 1 hr. alone with Jesus, in our quaint,
inti-mate chapel, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of
eve-ryday life. You don’t need to have children or grandchildren
that attend the school to be able to take advantage of this
opportunity, just a need for some down time with our Lord. For more

peacefully pray during a 40-day vigil in the public right-of-way
