• The Economy (a module that combines both Introduction to Macroeconomics and Introduction to Microeconomics in an innovative, real-world and practical way)
• Data and Mathematics in Economists• Introduction to Key Economic Thinkers• Ideas and Actors in International Development• Communication, Freedom and Democracy.

The Economy/CORE module.
• First modern university in England to introduce it• It uses an app, which has all module content - no need to
spend your allowance on textbooks• Highly favoured by employers• Starts with real-world, practical problems/scenarios and utilises
theories and models to explain them• At the end of your first year, you will be able to explain every
article on the Financial Times.
