    To date:

8-9 November 2012: meeting at IRSN

Participants: 14 EPR and 14 OSL from 24 institutions

Hands-on training.Participants received irradiated mobile phones and were asked to: Measure the samples Asses the dose and the uncertainty

    Correct for signal fading

Results are being collected. Will be discussed during this meeting.

... techniques of uncertainty analysis for physical and biological retrospectivedosimetry

(TG chairs: E. Ainsbury; F. Trompier)

TG10 6Development of common approach to uncertainty estimation

    Deliverable:

A paper surveying and comparing uncertainty evaluation methods used withinWG10 members.

To date:Methodologies across laboratories/dosimetry methods were collected and arebeing analized.

A paper has been submitted to the EPRBIODOSE conference in Leiden (24-28March 2013). Oral presentation and publication in the proceedings.

TG 10 7Biodosimetry when internal contamination occurs

    Key questions:

Can analysis of chromosome aberrations be linked with internaldose evaluation? If Yes, how?

Can dose assessment in teeth (EPR dosimetry) be linked withinternal dose evaluation? If Yes, how?

AimsTo establish the usefulness and limitations of retrospective dosimetryin cases of internal and mixed internal/external exposures

    Subtasks

    (1) Therapeutic exposures (Natalie Maznik)

    (2) Diagnostic radiology (Horst Romm)

    (3) Occupational and general public exposures (Paco Barquinero)

To date (actions of WG7 and WG10/TG7):

    - Meeting between members of the two groups

    - Collection of cases (unpublished + published cases) where biodosimetry

techniques where applied after high intakes of radionuclides- More than 60 publications were identified

    - Sharing of relevant unpublished case reports and papers

    - Agreed spreadsheet format for collecting relevant case details
