Discover what emerging, contemporary, and historical
women artists have to say about the natural world through
their adventurous and subversive artworks.
Is nature tame or wild? Predictable or peculiar? Societies have

require only simple observation. However, women artists upend
stereotypes to address nature’s strangeness, diversity, and
power. These two related exhibitions explore a seemingly simple
question: What is natural?
