About…
Farm AnimalsBy: Mrs. Wilson’s
Kindergarten Class 2010-2011
Our class learned about farm animals in our farm unit. At the end of the unit, the students were asked to draw their favorite farm animal, on the computer and on paper, and dictate three facts in sentence form.
Here are the results:
1. They roll in mud.2. The babies drink milk out of
the mommies.
1. Pigs like to roll in mud.2. Pigs like to snort.3. Baby pigs drink milk from their
mommies.
1. Lambs drink milk from their mama.
2. They have wooly coats.3. They walk in grass.
1. They have furry coats.2. They make socks and hats.3. Sheep make sounds that go
like baa.
1. They chase cats.2. They sleep on the
ground.3. They like to go around
their tails.

1. It says oink.2. It is pink.3. It plays in
mud.
1. Sheeps make the sound baa.2. Sheeps make the wool to make things that are
really warm.3. Some are called sheep and some are called
lambs.
1. They make milk.2. They make the cream you use to
make butter.3. They have black spots.
1. They roll in mud.2. They make the noise of
oink.3. They feed milk to their
babies.
1. They make ham.2. Their sound is
oink.3. They have swirly
tails.
1. They roll in mud.2. The little piglets drink from
the moms.3. They make oink.

1. They like to snort.2. They like to eat out of a
trough.3. They drink milk out of their
mommies.
