On September 22, the �rst annual State of the Watershed public forum will feature Senator Je� Flake as the Keynote Speaker. Local and state experts will gather at Eastern Arizona College to discuss the current status of natural and water resources in the Upper Gila Watershed. Fire, �ood, and the arrival of tamarisk leaf beetle are highlighted topics at this event. Other topics include: snowpack, climate forecasts, mining, local water supplies, and river channelization. All are welcome, and questions from the audience are encouraged.
