We Have a New Team Member!!!...

Last week, we welcomed a new LFSC Duck! This little guy had his Freedom Ride

and arrived safely in the LFSC Office where he is being well cared for by Coach

Laurel.

Coach Laurel needs help to name him so

she passed out a flyer last week in practice and

asked all swimmers to come up with a name for

him. If your child wants to submit a name,

please be sure to do so by TONIGHT at

practice. The LFSC Coaches will pick a name and

announce it on Wednesday.

He is already learning to be a good

teammate—he will be delivering the Forest

Bootery Swimmer of the Meet bagtags to his

fellow swimmers tonight at practice!

Be sure to follow our new team

member’s journey on the LFSC Facebook,

Twitter, and Instagram accounts. Cheer him on

as he learns to swim and dive and as he makes

his way towards his goal—the 2020 Summer

Olympic Games!

Our new friend is a part of the Lake Bluff 125th Anniversary Celebration featuring

“Dogs on the Bluff.” LFSC is proud to be a part of this event thanks to a kind

donation. He will be on display at the Lake Bluff pool (where we have summer

practices) after he finishes his training.

at Kiddles Sports in Lake Forest. In addition, we recommend purchasing a pair of

means having all equipment ready for practice in the pre-practice TM 6

minutes prior to the start of practice! Make sure your swimmer’s name is on

their equipment.

and observe practice at LFA, PLEASE sit ONLY in the hallway right outside

the pool. Do not go down any other hallways or in any other area of the
